
This is a book I just read and enjoyed.
Akhila loses her father when she is young and assumes responsibility to take care of her family. Forty years later she realizes she is unhappy and decides to run away from it all to live the life she wants.
Still insecure about her decision, she gets into a train to Kanyakumari, and meets four other women. During the trip, they tell her the story of their lives and debate about life, love and the role of women in contemporary India.
At the end of the book there are some Indian recipes to make dosa, puris...
